Two Hands is the New Zealand Parkour Association's (NZPA) volunteer group. The focus of the NZPA is to develop and teach Parkour in New Zealand and the underpinning philosophy of Parkour is
"to be strong, to be useful." - George Herbert.
With this in mind the NZPA wants to use its strength of its practitioners to be useful in the New Zealand community, thus the 'Two Hands' volunteer group was formed. Two Hands is about doing what you can, when you can, with your own two hands to spot, protect, help and support those around us that are in need. There is so much we can do for each other if we just open ourselves up to the daily opportunities of helping one another.
You do not have to be a practitioner of Parkour in order to be apart of Two Hands, the only pre-requisite is that you have the desire to do more for those around you. If you are interested in joining Two Hands please register your contact details with us by emailing twohands@nzparkour.co.nz, this way we will be able to inform you when we organize specific volunteer events in your area.
ATTENTION: If you are an organization that would like to call upon our help please contact us by emailing twohands@nzparkour.co.nz. Our volunteer group primarily provides a service of labor, any materials required for a requested task would need to be provided by the organization or we could arrange a fundraising event for the specific task.
