NEW ZEALAND PARKOUR ASSOCIATION | Developing and Teaching Parkour in New Zealand
NZPA INSTRUCTORS

The main objective of the New Zealand Parkour Association is to provide the highest quality of Parkour instructors for local communities nation wide, in order to pass on the true spirit of Parkour so we can help our communities develop and progress. All of our instructors meet strict requirements so we can maintain consistent and quality teaching.

The New Zealand Parkour Association works in parallel with the Australian Parkour Association in developing the same Parkour instructor standards. This ensures further consistency throughout the Parkour community, also working together allows for a much stronger development of our instructors.

Gaining the title of instructor shows that the traceur has applied themselves to train to a high standard, developed the ability to train and teach others and given freely of their time to assist in the training of other people. On top of their abilities to practice and teach Parkour all instructors are required to have a First Aid Certificate and current Police check.

An instructor in the New Zealand Parkour Association has shown they apply both the physical and philosophical aspects of Parkour and as such any instructor is of a high standard. An instructor is present at and runs all training sessions that are run by the New Zealand Parkour Association.
