NEW ZEALAND PARKOUR ASSOCIATION | Developing and Teaching Parkour in New Zealand
National and Local Events

The NZPA and its members host events throughout the year to showcase the great cities and training locations around the country. These events are great for meeting new people, seeing old friends, training in new and awesome locations with some of the best practitioners in the country, picking up new skills, and great fellowship.

Unless otherwise stated, all events and gatherings occurring throughout the country are free to attend and open to persons of all skill level and first timers. All the events taking place this year are listed below.

Monthly Wellington Jam

There will now be monthly parkour jams in Wellington. These will be held on the last Saturday of each month, meeting at a different location every time. This will allow us to venture to under-used spots further away from the waterfront where we usually hold classes, and allow us to expand the parkour scene outside of classes.

Where/When/What:

Check the Facebook page for more details.

What to expect:

  • A parkour jam, for those unfamiliar with the concept, is different from training or classes in that they are non-structured 'play' times. Parkour practitioners generally build off of each others movements and have fun while being able to explore a location's movement possibilities alongside people with abilities very different from your own.
